NFMIMS (Non-Ferrous Metal Import Monitoring System) is an online registration mechanism introduced by the DGFT (Directorate General of Foreign Trade) to monitor imports of non-ferrous metals into India. Importers must register shipment details in advance and obtain an automatic registration number before customs clearance.
