New IEC Registration refers to obtaining an Import Export Code (IEC)—a unique 10-digit identification number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.IEC Annual Update is a mandatory compliance requirement for all Importer Exporter Code (IEC) holders in India. As per the guidelines of the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, every business holding an IEC must update their details annually between 1st April and 30th June.
