WPC (Wireless Planning & Coordination) is a division under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India, responsible for regulating the use of wireless and radio frequencies. WPC certification is mandatory for devices using wireless technology such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, RFID, and IoT products to ensure compliance with Indian spectrum regulations. It includes Equipment Type Approval (ETA) and licensing for wireless devices before import, sale, or use in India.
